WHO YOU ARE


We are seeking expressions of interest for a Property Manager Operations to join our UniLodge on Margaret team on a 6 month Secondment basis.

This opportunity will commence around 2nd October 2023 and end 3rd April 2024 (approximately). As PMO, you will be responsible for the management and financial performance of this property.


You are a natural leader who is passionate about delivering an exemplary level of resident experience and demonstrates the drive to see the property and the team succeed.

Key to your success will be your ability to design innovative strategies that generate growth and additional revenue. Ideally you will possess experience with Body Corporate and utilising the Console Cloud Property Management System.

Your skills as a natural communicator with the ability to build sustainable relationships, both internally and externally will contribute to your success.

You will be a people person, and shall champion fostering a safe, secure and healthy living environment for all students.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities as Property Manager Operations will include but not be limited to:

  • You will be thoroughly familiar with our management agreements and shall manage the property as per the agreements
  • Establish and maintain a constructive and productive working relationship with all key stakeholders, including investors/Owners Corporation/Body Corporate Management company
  • Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow the financial performance of the asset, using knowledge to drive revenue and continually improve resident experience
  • Ensure that accurate accounting is maintained of all resident related accounts for rental and sundries
  • In conjunction with the Reporting Manager assist in the preparation of the property Budgets
  • Take ownership of problems and ensure that they are seen through to completion
  • Ensure that the residents rights to tenancy conditions and privacy are maintained
  • Maintain the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company
  • Build a high performing team with effective recruitment, delivery of relevant training and development to ensure that team members can reach their true potential

  • Operations will be periodically required to work outside of normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays, in response to emergencies and other urgent matters

  • Valid Working Rights in Australia and New Zealand
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Real Estate Salesperson Qualification is essential
