Employment Type - Ongoing, Full Time


Salary - $ 147,222.00 pa + Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading


Your Role


Join an organisation with a rich history, we are currently seeking an experienced Manager that is a logical and strategic thinker with extensive people and business management experience.

In this role you will be responsible for the running of the Industries and Education for the correctional centre while providing oversight and guidance to staff and inmates.


As part of this role, you will need to maintain strong relationships between senior managers across Department of Communities & Justice and external stakeholders.


  • The role requires:
  • Supervision and management of staff and inmates
  • Strong time management and computer skills
  • Experience working in a highpressure environment and managing to deliver key business objectives within set timeframes
  • Experience in leadership and mentoring to staff and inmates in accordance with CSI Business planning.
  • Experience in managing budgets of the work area and taking responsibility to ensure that resources are effectively allocated while meeting the operational objectives

What we're looking for- Relevant trade/tertiary or business qualifications with demonstrated management experience at a similar level

  • Experience in developing and implementing operational plans to improve business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and maintaining management systems relating to Agriculture, WHS, Quality.
  • Possess knowledge and operational experience in the use of business management systems, e.g. (Pronto).
  • Strong written communication skills and experience in process & procedure development. Auditing and Project Management experience beneficial
Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Agriculture, Business management
  • Knowledge of Business Management Systems (eg Pronto, SAP, QMS)
  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required
