We are currently seeking a qualified
Electrical Overhead Crane Technician, to join our Cranes and Lifting Team in Perth, WA, primarily servicing a major Defence client.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out installations, inspections, maintenance and commissioning of overhead electrical cranes and hoists
- Conducting routine and corrective crane maintenance
- Performing troubleshooting and faultfinding of crane systems
- Preparing detailed crane condition checklists and site service reports
- Surveying/scoping up crane maintenance activities to identify labour, materials and equipment required for execution.
- Replacement of crane components, i.e., hooks, wire ropes, motors, brakes, limit switches, load monitoring systems, etc.

Attractive renumeration package consisting of a base plus site uplifts for remote onshore/offshore work.
Weekly pay cycle
Primarily a metro-based role with some periodic remote site work as required.
Office-based coordinators and engineers to assist with managing the client, administration activities, work scope planning, parts procurement and technical support as required.

Skills, qualifications, and experience
To qualify for this role, the following are
mandatory requirements:
- Australian-recognized Electrical Trade Certificate
- Australian Driver's license
- Australian citizenship
To be successful in this role, you must:
Have 5 years' experience as an overhead crane technician.
Possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in using a computer.
Lead by example and demonstrate a second-to-none commitment to safety and excellence.
Have the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Be able to pass a National Police clearance and AGSVA Security Vetting process.
