Assignment:
Temporary, Full-time, 38 hours/week (April December 2024, with possibility of extension)


Maxima's Recruitment Services is currently seeking highly motivated individuals for the position of Revenue and Property Officer for one of our Government client.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will work across two teams undertaking tasks in Revenue & Property and Property Searches.

  • Update rates files prior to levy processing, including data cleansing and compiling rate adjustments.
  • Undertake rates reporting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in monthly statistics reports.
  • Update approved rates adjustments, including classifications and assessments for subdivisions and community title schemes.
  • Liaise with State Government on valuation updates and discrepancies.
  • Process operational ownership registrations and monthly reconciliations of Council information.
  • Rectify anomalies between property information systems and rating systems.
  • Assist with customer service duties, including responding to inquiries and processing refunds.
  • Review and update property valuations, processing changes and associated updates. Collaborate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated understanding of local government processes and property administration (preferred)
- work experience in financial, legal or property related administration.

  • Proactive approach with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with high accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Strong recordkeeping abilities and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to adhere to mandated procedures and ethical standards.
