Swinburne has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Learning Ecosystems to be at the forefront of innovation in using technologies and innovative spaces to enhance students' experiences in line with our 2025 strategic goals.


In this role you will manage the development, implementation and evaluation of existing and emerging learning technologies and learning spaces to enhance teaching quality, and support wider student learning across Swinburne.

Additionally you will build and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and draw on your previous experience with learning technologies, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning spaces to build innovative learning ecosystems to ensure effective blended and online learning experiences for our students.


This integral position will provide leadership and project management in piloting, scaling-up, embedding and evaluating learning technologies and spaces in order to deliver outcomes for stakeholders, as well as using data-driven approaches to ensure effective blended and online learning experiences for our students.


About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with effectively leading complex education-based projects and programs with significant change impact in organisational operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams and managing performance of staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to collaborative teams, work independently when required, and manage a varied and changing workload.
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work as part of a diverse team and liaise and negotiate with a range of audiences to achieve agreed outcomes and reconcile differing view.

Qualifications
A degree qualification plus extensive relevant experience or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
