    Description

    The Role:

    • Coordinate the planning of track and civil maintenance and capital works for the SEQ network.
    • Manage a team of track planners to ensure future works plans are aligned with asset strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage track and civil assets and authorize major works requests.
    • Lead a team of planners to deliver future works plans to maintenance providers.
    • Prioritize and approve asset renewal works in line with asset strategies.
    • Chair meetings for forward works plans and review completed works with maintenance providers.
    • Represent the Track and Civil Asset Manager with key interfaces such as road authorities.
    • Lead improvements to corridor maintenance plans and strategies.
    • Maintain field presence and strong working relationships across the business.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in track maintenance and prioritizing works based on risk.
    • Knowledge of CMMS (Computer Managed Maintenance Systems like SAP/Ellipse) is highly desirable.
    • Management background with demonstrated ability to lead and influence.
    • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build strong working relationships.
    • Engineering or technical background in rail maintenance/construction.
