Our client
Coxons Group Australia has a great opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their Head Office team located in their brand new office facility in Morningside.

Coxons Group Australia was founded in 1986 by the Coxons family and is today a market leader in the maintenance and supply of predominantly mining and heavy haulage cooling solutions.

They have multiple branches across Australia, including Brisbane, Singleton, Rockhampton and Mackay.


About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, solving problems by matching solutions to customer needs.
  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships with major account customers.
  • Entering new jobs into the companies ERP system, processing sales orders and maintaining up to date progress notes.
  • Managing the interface with SAP Ariba for major accounts.
  • Preparing and submitting quotations to customers.
  • Assisting the National Sales Manager and Key Account Managers with sales administration as required.

About You
You are a positive contributor and team player that possesses a natural ability to build strong working relationships. You are detail oriented, motivated and organised with a passion for meeting customer needs.

  • We're looking for someone who:
  • Has at least 2 years' of prior experience in a Customer Service Officer role in the mining or industrial industries.
  • Has basic mechanical knowledge or knowledge of heavy mining equipment highly regarded.
  • Is competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
  • Possesses strong time management and coordination skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Is reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
