Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working crossfunctionally with globally dispersed teams.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in the payments industry and/or working within complex legal, regulatory, and compliance environments.
  • Consulting and/or project management experience with proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses, leadership, and teams.

Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications.

Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects.

We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.


The Payments Business Operations team provides strategic and operational support to enable Google to launch new products and forms of payment on top of the business generation engine easily, efficiently, and safely.

We bring teams together across Google's functions to execute efficiently, and optimally push Google to scale at key points that refine our infrastructure, and bring solid business sense and sound judgment to drive strategic decisioning.

Our role often includes components of strategy (e.g., analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g., running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications.

Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cut across our existing organization to deliver high impact projects.


Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure.

In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive a widerange of high impact projects developing business cases and driving strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate and drive crossfunctional initiatives and strategic projects to optimize across Platform's compliance portfolio (e.g. sustainable compliance strategy).
  • Contribute to product design and roadmap development, including collecting market feedback and building strategic narratives. Manage progress on key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with and guide multiple crossfunctional, global teams to build strategies based on product needs, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Measure operational efficiency, customer, and partner experience.
