About the role
As a Journey Expert, you will be responsible for requirements analysis and the planning and tracking of the provisioning of payments information, which is an integral part of the payment services that the bank provides.
About CPS230
Across the globe, the regulators have increasing expectation with focus on operational risk management and the operational resilience of critical operations, services and business lines.
Operational Resilience is the ability to "prevent, adapt, respond to, recover and learn from operational disruptions." Prudential standard "CPS 230 Operational Risk Management" finalised by APRA 17 July 23 is effective 1 July 25.
It replaces existing standards:
CPS 231 Outsourcing & CPS 232 Business Continuity Management (+ others not relevant to ADIs).
The aim of this Prudential Standard is to ensure that an APRA-regulated entity is resilient to operational risks and disruptions.
An APRA-regulated entity must effectively manage its operational risks, maintain its critical operations through disruptions, and manage the risks arising from service providers.
CPS230 program is run by Non-Financial Risk Transformation and this role will be working within the Institutional - Group Payments team focussing on Payments Critical Operations.

The Successful Journey Expert will focus on the following:
To work closely with the Product Owners to assess new demand and to assist in forward planning
Develop wider understanding and capability, being able to provide a business outcome context view of work.
Ability to assist Product Owners and Portfolio Performance Leads with prioritisation, backlog refinement for the assets.
Leverage networks and stakeholders to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are captured
Work with the wider Information Services Tribe to assist in the development, articulation and execution of payments data insights.
Accountable for the impact assessment and roadmap realignment at the Group Payments portfolio level.
Analytical support for the synthesis, and communication of the driving forces, headwinds, and tailwinds (regulatory, industry, business, tech, cyber) of the operational resilience uplift
Analytical support for the clustering of regulatory obligations, transformation opportunities, and technical debts into the value drops in logical sequence.
Analytical support for the envisioning of the conceptual framework that will amalgamate the discrete capabilities into a platform that will be incubated in Banking Services/Group Payments for adoption by the Enterprise.
Impact assessment of changes induced by the CPS230 remediation on the planned and/or inflight initiatives.Estimation of cost, technical debt, and resources required for the remediation.
Realignment of the planned and/or inflight initiatives to support the remediation
Supporting the embedment of changes across the Banking Services organisation

Extensive problem solving "toolkit". Broad range of visualisation techniques covering scope, progress, culture, goal, etc.
