We are seeking a Test Analyst to join our team for an initial 4 month contract to assist testing and validating data solutions across a newly formed data platform.

This position will require you to work across currrent data and analytics solutions leveraging databrick within AWS.

Your day at NTT

Assist with defining a test strategy
Analsye and review the data platform alongside data analysts, engineers and modellers
Analyse and translate platform architecture, system design, and business requirements into test plans, and test casess
Develop system, regression, performance and ETL test cases
Design and build a test automation process across all data flows and touch points
Consult with Data Engineers to quality control the deployment processes across environments with automated pipelines via GitHub Workflows and Actions
Develop and execute manual test cases and facilitate defect resolution and test status reporting using either Micro Focus ALM (Quality Centre) or Jira.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

ISTQB Certified highly desired
Experienced testing on a Reporting or Analytics data platform
Demonstrated experience with manual, regression, performance, ETL and test automation
Understanding of data modelling, Data Lakehouse and ETL/ELT processes
Have previously tested cloud based (AWS) reporting and analytics or datawarehouse solutions
Any experience with metadata driven testing methodologies and frameworks would be highly regarded
Have previously incorporated test automation with CI/CD for automated deployments
Familiarity with Databricks and Python
