Phillip Riley is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join a Renewable Energy Developer.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of Utility scale Renewable Energy projects from inception to completion.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, monitor progress, and coordinate activities to ensure project deliverables are achieved efficiently and within budget.

Responsibilities:


  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
  • Track project expenses and ensure effective cost control measures are implemented.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Serve as a liaison between various teams, including engineering, procurement, operations, and finance, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and provide timely updates to project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate resolution of projectrelated issues and ensure timely escalation, when required.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare projectrelated documents, such as project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Generate and distribute regular project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential risks.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project risks and implement appropriate contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address unforeseen challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify project deliverables meet specified standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to minimize errors and optimize project outcomes.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy industry, however other related industries would be considered.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, policies, and regulations is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
