    YOUR ROLE

    Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will provide external support to FRSA clientele and internal support to FRSA personnel. You will be responsible for handling the procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain and optimise costs.

    You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions and implement best practices within our procurement function, seeking Procurement efficiencies and cost savings through analysis and consolidation.

    Key responsibilities of the role are:

    • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
    • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
    • Review and place Purchase Orders in a timely manner.
    • Track orders and ensure timely delivery - Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
    • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
    • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
    • Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts.
    • Co-ordinate International Freight, Maintaining Landed Costings and Analysis of Freight Options.
    • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.

    ABOUT YOU

    Having worked in a similar role, you will already have strong communication, leadership and time management skills that have been developed within fast paced environment.

    • The other essentials we are looking for are:
    • Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
    • Strong verbal communication, organizational and time management skills
    • High level of personal presentation and grooming
    • Computer literacy (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP Databases – Experience in using Pronto an advantage.
    • A high level of initiative and self-motivation to work independently at times.
    • An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

    The following is advantageous but not essential:

    • Prior experience with PRONTO
    • Knowledge of emergency services industry and products
