This opportunity is great for an individual who is looking for career growth and to gain an invaluable experience working within the parks of Croyden

About the role

As a Horticulture/Parks and Gardens Apprentice, you will be learning how to correctly identify plants, measure PH levels of soil, as well as perform outdoor maintenance such as trimming, mowing, weeding, planting, and undertake general land maintenance for the Maroondah City Council.

About you

Physically fit and selfmotivated
Eager to work outdoors with extensive variety of work sites, horticultural jobs and projects
Strong team mentality with an attitude of helping others
Positive attitude towards working fulltime and gaining a nationally recognised qualification
Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
A desire for excellence
Consistently reliable and punctual at all times
Commitment and dedication to TAFE studies
