Machine Operator / Production Worker

  • Casual roles with view to perm
  • ASAP starts
  • Day & afternoon shift hours
  • Must be flexible to work either shift
- $ $38.61 per hour

The Company

Our client, based in Bayswater, is looking for a Machine Operator to grow within their team and expand on their existing skills.

They supply a diverse range of interior acoustic products to markets all over the world, featuring walls and ceilings to customised screens.

With their focus being on sustainability, they manufacture using fibers made from recycled materials


Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Machine operating
  • Strapping pallets
  • Assisting to run a production line
  • Quality control
  • Manual handling

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • Machine Operating experience
  • Be physically fit for repetitive lifting
  • A great eye for detail and high level of problemsolving
  • The ability to adhere to strict OH&S guidelines and procedures
  • Production line experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work closely within a team and across various departments
  • The flexibility to work across day and afternoon shifts

Hours & Pay Rate:


Day shift hours:
Monday to Friday, 6am till 2pm

Afternoon shift hours:
Monday to Friday, 2pm till 10pm

  • Overtime also available (some Saturdays)_
Production Operators - day shift $30.53 p/hr, afternoon shift $35.10 p/hr

Machine Operators - day shift $33.58 p/hr, afternoon shift $38.61 p/hr
