About the position


Council's Family Health Support Services Department is looking for a Client Services Officer who will be part of a team responsible for undertaking effective and efficient rostering and administration of In Home Services for eligible consumers.


The main responsibilities will include:

  • Timely preparation of rosters reflecting the assessed needs of clients in line with Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP) Guidelines, OHS and Enterprise Agreement requirements;
  • Undertaking administrative duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance Standards and relevant department procedures to support optimal functioning of the service and use of resources; and
  • Providing consistent high levels of customer service, information and support to clients accessing In Home Services.
This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, over 4 days.


About you

  • A TAFE level or equivalent qualifications or significant experience in office administration;
  • Demonstrated experience in rostering using a Client Management System;
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to operate in a busy environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service; and
  • An understanding of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP) would be an advantage.
