Kinetic is seeking a professional MR Or HR driver based in the Dodges Ferry area to perform a General service run.

The position involves an afternoon school run and will include some work on a general access service run.

The afternoon school run commences at Dodges Ferry and run to Hobart and would ideally suit someone based in Dodges Ferry and nearby suburbs.

The hours will be Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 7:30pm.


You don't need to have experience as a bus driver; however, you will need to be an experienced heavy vehicle driver with great people skills, a good driving history, and able to effectively manage passengers whilst driving.


You will be responsible for safely operating the designated service, and may also be required to undertake ticketing, assisting passengers on and off your vehicle, and may be required to assist in the loading and unloading of luggage.


The boxes you'll tick:

  • Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
  • A current TAS Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence (or above)
  • A Tasmanian Public Passenger Vehicle licence
  • Working with Vulnerable People authority
  • Be able to pass a pre‐employment functional and drug & alcohol clearance
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID19, or prepared to be vaccinated
