The Policy Officer will contribute to the development of evidence-based policy frameworks extending to citizen identity, business identity, privacy, consent and more to enhance digital services so they can be accessed anytime, anywhere, or using any device.

Responsibilities

As a Policy Officer, you will:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the team's remit to provide policy and advice to support the delivery and evolution of contemporary digital services.
  • Collaborate between policy areas across government and senior management to ensure policyrelated matters are joined up and support the Government agenda for digital service delivery.
  • With the Director, support senior management in consultation and negotiation with a range of government stakeholders on complex identity and digital servicerelated policy issues.
  • Contribute to advice via a range of concise and professionally written documents (such as reports, briefing papers, Cabinet submissions and discussion papers) and verbally via meetings and presentations for a range of audiences, including senior executives and Ministers.
  • Create a suite of policy materials which are consistent, userfriendly, relevant, up to date and in line with whole of government guidelines, policies, and procedures.
