An excellent opportunity is available for a People Analyst to join the People & Culture Department at Australia's pre-eminent biomedical research institute.

About the Position


Reporting to the Remuneration and Benefits Manager, the primary purpose of the People Analyst role is to provide analytical support associated with the delivery of the design and development of HR dashboards, metrics and reports to use analytics to provide insights to the wider institute and external stakeholders.

The role will also involve project coordination for remuneration and benefits activities, initially focusing on the implementation of the Remuneration Roadmap.

Selection Criteria


Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business (and at least 3 years of relevant previous experience)

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Workday system experience ideal but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and developing HR metrics
  • Insight into the Remuneration and benefits arena would be ideal
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Power BI or other people analytics software will be highly desirable

  • Ability to maintain composure, balance workload and conflicting priorities, and effectively handle difficult situations.
  • Hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and credibility
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Terms of Appointment

This position is available in an ongoing role in a full/part time capacity. Salary is Professional Services Employee Level 7 ($94,222 - $101,996). Up to 17% superannuation and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
