An opportunity has become available for an experienced
Site Supervisor to join our
Belrose Recycling **Team.


Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is responsible for directing, coordinating and scheduling the work of employees which is continuous and fast paced.

    Role Responsibilites
  • Manage production feed rates and product yields to meet production targets as provided by the Site Manager.
  • Ensure Plant operates at maximum efficiency during the shift and ensure the quality of materials is maintained for both in and out feeds.
  • Assign tasks and job roles to employees for the shift to ensure production targets are met.
  • Ensure we always maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Manage truck waiting times and ensure the yard is not overly congested throughout the shift.
  • Where required, manage customer complaints that occur and ensure they are reported to the site manager.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to manage planned equipment maintenance and minimise downtime on shift.
  • Identify equipment maintenance issues and liaise with Site Manager to resolve these issues.
  • Ensure all plant start up and shut down procedures are performed safely, efficiently, and according to company procedures.
  • Ensure employees on shift hold appropriate competencies for the plant and equipment they are required to operate.
  • Ensure all highrisk work is completed by competence maintenance workers with appropriate qualifications and training.
  • Conduct training regularly on safe work procedures and other safety related modules to ensure employees are competent.
  • Maintain site housekeeping standards.
  • Respond to workplace injuries and ensure appropriate first aid is rendered.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and comply with company's WHS policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all near misses, incident and injuries are reported.
  • Monitor key environmental areas during the shift including, but not limited to dust suppression, water, and noise.
  • Manage day to day people issues such as attendance, tardiness, minor issues and complaints.
  • Escalate serious people issues such as bullying and harassment or serious misconduct immediately to the site manager.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings with employees.
  • Ensure all paperwork such as checklists, daily production sheets, work permits and risk assessments such as JSA's are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Ensure employees have sufficient training including competencies and safe work procedures.
  • Ensure all projects are in line with product gradings and compliance.
  • Regularly inspect all material piles to ensure they are clean of debris.
