We currently have an exciting opportunity available for experienced Casual Function Supervisors to support our Catering Team at one of Melbourne's most prestigious corporate locations in Melbourne CBD.


Reporting to the FOH Manager, you will use your leadership and strategic planning capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of several events daily ranging from sandwich lunches through to sit down formal dinners and high-end cocktail functions whilst ensuring food quality and service standards are continuously maintained.


Other key responsibilities include:


  • Managing daytoday events
  • Encouraging team members to develop their skills through performance planning and continuous training.
  • Working closely with the FOH Manager to ensure all legislative compliance and standards are met to minimise risk and maximise business efficiency and outcomes.
  • Ensuring responsible Service of Alcohol on events with Alcohol.
  • Working with team to ensure customer expectations are meet and exceeded in relation to service delivery.

In addition, you can demonstrate:


  • Significant experience in leading a team within the hospitality industry.
  • Outstanding client service focus demonstrated by superior communication ability.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Proven experience in managing people and stress within a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work at different hours throughout a Mon-Fri working week. This role will involve mainly working evenings at different times throughout the course of the week.
