About the role

The Information Support Officer (ISO) provides technical system advice, training and support for health and education sector stakeholders across Victoria on using Placeright to plan, manage and report on student placements.

The Information officer has broad responsibility for the provision of health workforce-related support and advice to stakeholders on behalf of the Department of Health Victoria.


Key Responsibilities

  • Program programrelated support and advice to health workforce stakeholders
  • Provide training and support to users of Placeright
  • Student management system
  • Support stakeholders to implement BPCLE Framework and associated reporting tools
  • Support stakeholders to use Victorian Health Workforce Knowledge Bank

Skills and experience

  • Experience in using Placeright is highly desirable
  • Understanding and/or prior involvement in the Placeright student placement planning process is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated understanding of data management requirements within health and education systems in Victoria
  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders with a high level of customer service
