This is a unique opportunity for a Practice Manager to join a well established, 3 Partner & 30 staff, accounting firm on Melbourne's city fringe.

They are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to support their continued growth and help manage the team.

These progressive firm services are looking for the right person to assist daily operations of the business, build and maintain client relationships and lead the administration team.


The role

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Day to day management of the business including management of workflow and coordination of jobs
  • Overseeing keys areas of the business including but not limited to HR, IT, Recruitment and Marketing
  • Work alongside the partners, assisting with business strategy, growth and client relations
  • Mentoring and managing an administration team of
  • Review, update and implement the firm's policies, procedures, and relevant government regulations
  • Continuously promote the businesses culture and values
  • Be involved with the firm's internal accounts, including budgeting & reporting
  • Monitoring lodgement program to ensure ATO lodgement dates are met.
  • Adhoc project and admin tasks
To be considered for this position, you will need to the following


requirements:


  • Previous Practice Manager experience
  • Ideally 8 or more years of working in a Public Practice Accounting Firm in Australia
  • Degree qualified
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise multiple tasks to achieve deadlines.
  • A keen interest in technology, systems and process improvements
  • Xero experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving & a positive cando attitude
