Join the People and Culture Team, to contribute to the delivery of exceptional employee experiences right across Banking and Financial Services (BFS).

We have multiple opportunities available on a permanent and maximum-term contract basis.


As a change manager, this role will see you joining a growing Employee Experience (EX) change function, with a mission to create amazing experiences for our people by delivering against an exciting portfolio of change, that continues to develop our world-leading workplace.

From day one, you'll be empowered to own and deliver on specific pieces of work within the portfolio.

The EX change portfolio contains some of our highest priority multi-year operational, cultural and strategy transformation programs.

This includes; continuing to deliver Slack as our BFS digital HQ, reimagining the way we set goals and measure performance, and embedding culture and capability uplift focused on Digital, Design, Data and Engineering.

You're a natural collaborator, with proven ability to build relationships and support others. Needless to say, you have excellent communications skills, with an ability to make the complex simple.

You'll engage with a broad spectrum of technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the end user experience and adoption is front of mind throughout the delivery lifecycle.


Key responsibilities:
No two days will be the same, the work you'll be involved will include:

  • Assessing change impacts, to obtain an understanding of the impact of a change on the business, associated people risks, and how these will be managed.
  • Stakeholder analysis and engagement planning using human centred design techniques such as persona development and user journey maps
  • Developing and executing change plans to deliver fit for purpose change solutions that deliver value and maximise change adoption.
  • Identifying and building relationships with stakeholders, at all levels, to ensure changes are supported and sponsored, right across the organisation
  • Designing, developing, and delivering change collateral e.g. presentations, training materials, and reference materials.
  • Measuring adoption, ensuring that benefits are quantifiable, identifying where further embedding or reinforcement might be requirement and putting action plans into place
  • Working with the Change Lead to map change delivery at a portfolio level, identifying change capacity risks, interdependencies and looking at ways to deliver and embed sustainable change practices to impacted groups.

To be successful in this role:

  • You'll have proven change management delivery experience in supporting businesses to deliver quantifiable people outcomes at scale.
  • You'll have a track record of exceptional influencing and relationship building, with the ability to present ideas and insights clearly.
  • You'll have demonstrated experience at identifying and translating people impacts into meaningful change management interventions.
  • Proactive, organised and peopleoriented, you'll be experienced in dealing with a range of stakeholders with the ability to engage around a clear vision.
  • A true problem solver, you'll be both curious and innovative, always asking, "What's new," "How can we do this better"
  • You're a team player that enjoys working collaboratively, sharing ideas, and working for collective success, as part of large cross functional delivery teams.
  • You'll demonstrate flexibility to adapt and iterate your approach, along with a tenacity to see challenges as an opportunity to be overcome.
