APG are currently recruiting for a Leading Hand, working for our client who is a world leader in the food industry, based in Eagle Farm

Afternoon Shift 2pm Start

With a strong focus on team culture, safety and delivering on KPI's the role is fast paced, and you will be required to be both physically and mentally fit to ensure you become an integral part of the team and culture moving forward.

Requirements for this role:

Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift.
Enforce all safety and processing procedures.
Enable effective communications between management and operators.
Train new employees and coach existing employees.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Investigate and report all incidents (spills, accidents, poor performance);
Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Ensure that all products are produced on time and are of good quality.
Ensure that the Quality of the finished product is to required standard.
Understand and implement Quality control measures to products and processes.
Identifying training needs.
Other duties as instructed by the Production Supervisors.
