Our client is a company with a rich history of innovation and success, and they are looking for a dynamic and experienced State Operations Manager to join their team and continue their tradition of excellence.


The Role:


We are seeking a results-oriented and experienced State Operations Manager to oversee our operations
across multiple sites within the State.

This is a critical leadership role that requires an individual with a strong track record of managing complex operations and a passion for building, maintaining and empowering a diverse and large workforce.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and oversee all operations within the state, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across multiple sites.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational processes and achieve costeffective results.
  • Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and strong leadership within the workforce.
  • Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including Health, Safety and Environment, Sales, and Marketing, to align operations with business goals.
  • Provide regular performance evaluations, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the operations team.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience managing operations across multiple sites,

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, empower, and develop a large and diverse workforce.
  • Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resultsdriven and able to meet and exceed operational targets.
