    Description

    About the role:

    As a Business Development Specialist at Geocycle, you will:

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities through existing and new customers
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, acting as the link between customers and Geocycle technical and production staff
  • Research and gather market intelligence, reporting and acting on key findings
  • Achieve sales targets and KPI's
  • Play a key role in customer negotiations, winning new customers and customer complaint resolution
  • Manage customer projects end to end, from initial lead to first delivery

    • About you:

  • You have previous experience in sales, business development or account manager role, ideally in the waste or related industries. We are also open to recent university graduates.
  • You have a natural ability to build rapport and great relationships with customers, and you aren't afraid to get in front of them
  • You are analytical, commercially aware and able to navigate the technical components of our business
  • You are tenacious, driven and willing to take on new challenges
  • You have a keen desire to learn
  • You stay across the detail and see projects through to ensure successful results
  • Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in business, science or a related field
