The Role
Reporting to the Area Maintenance Supervisor, an exciting opportunity has risen for a Maintenance Officer at Campbell.


This is a full time role working 5 days per week from either 8am to 4pm or 7:30am to 3:30pm.

  • You will be responsible in providing basic general maintenance repairs (electrical & plumbing, carpentry and building)
  • You will also be providing gardening maintenance tasks (sweeping, hosing, keeping the outside of buildings clean and tidy, mowing lawns, hedging and general garden maintenance)
  • Will communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families, being empathetic and understanding of the needs of aged residents.

Requirements:


  • A current NSW Driver License
  • Sensitive to the needs of the elderly in a residential care setting
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic computer skill
  • Understanding of workplace safety
  • Experience as a Maintenance Person in Aged Care or similar industry is desirable
  • Able to provide evidence of COVID19 & influenza vaccinations
