Goatpath is SoftwareONE's software team that builds platforms and products to automate and govern customers' software and cloud investments through intuitive products they love to use.

Within Goatpath there are currently four product groups:
Marketplace, Cloud, Digital and Insights.

Marketplace aims to redefine/revolutionize how software is bought, managed, and sold, while Cloud seeks to build the most simple and intelligent cloud management platform.

Insights will allow customers to benchmark their maturity in the space of spend and technology, while Digital will revolutionize how customers will interact with SoftwareONE.

All products are built on a shared platform.

The role:

Goatpath product team are looking for empathetic, collaborative leader who enjoys working with the latest technologies, practices and and loves to mentor.

You will be part of an engineering team that passionately develop an evolving Cloud-Native SaaS solution to ensure we deliver robust solutions to customer problems and needs, while also maintaining the balance between short term trade offs and long term engineering honesty.

Collaborate handson within a crossfunctional product feature team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Work with other distributed teams to drive the future of our product.
Lead technical discussions with developers, architects and other stakeholders to drive the technical evolution of our SaaS solution as well as development process and practices
Learn and understand our domain in order to tackle complex problems in commercially sensible ways
Provide guidance and mentor the next generation of engineering within Goatpath
Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes for high availability environments in Azure and AWS

What we need to see from you:

Experience leading a team of developers, defined roadmap for complex projects
Passion for technology and love to dream about architecture
Strong communication skills working in a distributed team in a remote first environment
Expert in ECMAScript2015+ / Typescript and familiar with some/any of these: React, , MongoDB and Redis
Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS
