About this role
We are looking for a Project Officer, Program Support Unit to join the Regional Health Division.


You will join the Regional Health Division which is responsible for providing advice to the Minister for Regional Health, Minister for Health and Secretary, NSW Health on matters concerning regional, rural and remote health.

The Division will provide advocacy for issues across the regional health environment, and identify opportunities to enhance local access to health and other social services that support quality health outcomes.


The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives relating to regional health.

Crown Clerk 7/8, salary from $101,947 - $112,849 plus Super and annual leave loading

What you'll be doing

  • Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources and maintaining project documentation, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information
  • Support project completion in line with project plans
  • Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues
  • Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decisionmaking and planning
