Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a
People and Culture Officer to join our People team in Perth on a 12 month fixed term contract with possible extension.
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, People & Culture, you will be assisting on HR related matters with a specific focus on onboarding activities on our Minerals and Projects groups, and working closely with our Africa and SE Asia based projects and HR teams.
This is a role that contains a scope of HR work within a global business that is currently undergoing a significant people improvement agenda.
The tasks you'll perform
- Generalist HR administration with a specific focus on coordinating the onboarding of new starters and existing employees for our projects across Australia, Africa and SE Asia
- All aspects of employment contracts, compliance, internal changes, terminations and scenarios involving People moves
- Coordinate the immigration process to ensure compliance within relevant jurisdictions for international hires and assignments
- Maintain appropriate personnel documentation and statutory records for employment purposes on our company HRIS system
- Building effective relationships with numerous stakeholders
- Other related duties regarding the onboarding and movement of People within our business
- Undertake ad hoc projects to support the implementation of broader HR initiatives
The expertise you'll bring
- A tertiary degree or qualification in Human Resources, this position would suit a recent Graduate
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to multitask
- A willingness to go above and beyond, and a passion for providing high levels of service to facilitate exceptional employee experiences
- Proactive problem solver who can think laterally and find the answers if they're not already known.
