Myer is currently looking for a
People & Culture Manager to lead the corporate HR team, partner with and guide senior business leaders across the support office, drive the people strategy and also lead HR and ER processes.


About the Role:


  • Proactively identify, develop and implement people strategies and initiatives aligned to the overall people and culture and business strategies.
  • Accountable for delivering national People & Culture initiatives, including but not limited to: Diversity & Inclusion, annual performance reviews and reward and recognition programs.
  • Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders and senior business leaders.
  • Partner with aligned client group to provide timely and accurate HR advice to leaders and team members.
  • Provide advice/support to managers, business partners and advisors in relation to performance management, counselling, disciplinary action, termination of employment, redundancy, grievances and dispute resolution and ensure compliance with related statutory requirements.
  • Act as escalation for HR Advisors for complex employee relations matters across support office.
  • Drive and lead People & Culture activities for aligned client groups.
  • Analyse and utilise various people metrics and recommend business/HR solutions.
  • Identify people risks and provide solutions and support the people and culture team with the impact of legislative changes.
  • Advise senior leaders on organisational design, structure and change management.
  • Coach, mentor and develop managers to be successful in their roles, achieve business objectives and the Myer strategy.
  • Identify and implement People & Culture process and system improvements
  • Support the delivery of capability programs in partnership with the capability team
  • Lead the team to high performance through regular and effective coaching, feedback, mentoring and training and development opportunities

About You:


  • Experience in a People & Culture Business Partner role in a fastpaced Digital business
  • Experience supporting and leading projects across multiple stakeholders with differing demands
  • Strong ability to advise, coach and influence senior leaders and executives, especially across complex HR and ER matters
  • Previous involvement in facilitating workshops, offsites, team sessions covering the employee lifecycle experiences induction, engagement debriefs and action planning, how to set OKRs, team effectiveness etc.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements from leaders, designing and developing end to end leadership capability and bespoke solutions for team offsites.
  • A solid understanding and track record of relevant Australian employment laws and casework
  • A proactive team player with the demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across the organisation
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve, work objectively, and deliver high quality work in a fastpaced environment

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Experience in a corporate and/or retail environment
