Business Support Officer

An excellent opportunity for a professional and dedicated Business Support Officer to join our established team in a critical customer service support role.

Governed by Australia and New Zealand Police Commissioners, ANZPAA is the gateway organisation to position policing for the future.

About the role

The ANZPAA Business Support Officer acts as the conduit between the agency and key stakeholders. It is responsible for resolving issues, improving communications across policing jurisdictions and increasing efficiencies across the Agency.

The Business Support Officer will also be an administrative 'all-rounder', providing outstanding customer support across the Agency, and to stakeholders, often at senior levels within Australian and New Zealand Policing.

The Business Support officer supports the Executive Officer to the CEO and collaborates with other team members to deliver a range of executive level administrative and project support services.

About you

We are looking for a customer focused and flexible individual who has strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

You will excel in working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment where no two days will be the same. You need to be comfortable with multi-tasking, focused on quality, timeliness and responsive to stakeholder needs.

You will enjoy the challenge of contributing to an agile and responsive Agency culture, taking ownership for identifying improvements to processes and implementing new systems.

You should be comfortable in managing outlook inboxes, and other MS 365 programs, as well as record management, answering telephone inquiries and drafting briefing notes to senior management.

How to apply

  • A cover letter (max. two pages) that addresses the key capabilities outlined in the attached position description.
  • Your resume (max. three pages).
Applicants who do not address the Key Capabilities will note be considered.
