Role:

***Due to an internal promotion that has resulted from impressive national growth (consistent record-breaking sales figures for ANZ region over the last 5 years), a rare opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate people leader to fast-track their career in a newly created role as a National Sales Manager with a leading global business


You will be based out of the Sydney head office and will work closely with the Managing Director to further the current success of the sales team.

You will lead a team of direct reports comprising of internal sales, external sales engineers and business development managers dispersed across multiple branch and service centre locations of the business (VIC, QLD, WA).

You will find yourself completing an average of 2-3 national trips annually.


What does success look like in this role?
Key objectives based on which success will ultimately be measured:

  • Continued successful implementation of the current ANZ sales strategy
  • driving a focus on major projects (oil & gas, energy, water/wastewater, food & beverage, manufacturing etc.) increasing profit margin
  • Further training & development of current sales force ensure that external & internal teams are at all times working effectively in unison
  • Individual team member strengths & drivers are understood by National Sales Manager and leveraged on for optimal success of both individual and team as a whole.
  • A strong focus on succession planning of the team (development of & promotion of employees internally according to individual career aspirations, strengths etc.)

You:


  • Are an experienced people leader with a track record of creating and leading highperforming teams. You understand what drives technical sales professionals and know how to leverage individual motivation to maximise personal achievement
  • Have strong technical aptitude & commercial acumen (e.g. engineering background OR/AND solid relevant industry experience + qualifications in business)
  • Desire to progress your career with a global market leader
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for achieving and delivering results
