  • Play a vital role in the delivery of individual and group activity programs designed to enhance our residents' physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural and social well being. This role will suit if you have a positive personality, able to work autonomously and as a team player and are passionate about ensuring our residents have engaging and meaningful activities that suit their needs and interests.
  • We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic individual, who is a creative problem solver, has great written and verbal skills and is empathetic. If you have a passion for helping and love the idea of helping run activities that involve music, art and craft, celebrating milestones and trips that connect to the community, you will find that this is fun not work.
**ABOUT THE ROLE: - Casual position

  • Promote emotional and physical rehabilitation through engaging residents in recreational activities of their choice that promote holistic wellbeing
  • Create, facilitate and evaluate individual and group lifestyle programs to ensure that our residents have the best day possible each and every day.
  • Work in consultation with the wider care team to provide relevant and timely information for the care planning process
  • You will be supported and guided by the Lifestyle Coordinator.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Completed or currently enrolled in Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure (Diversional Therapy), or similar
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle role in an aged care environment
  • Highly motivated and engaging personality with a desire to teach and make a difference within the home
  • Demonstrated time management and an excellent relationshipbuilder
  • Previous experience delivering recreational activities and the ability to work within a team environment
