The role:


The
Associate Director Divisional Controls is a common point of expertise and provides first line controls, compliance, reporting and risk assurance support.

This role is critical in driving risk assurance awareness, understanding, and change, to create a centre of excellence for controls including the uplift of NAB's controls infrastructure.

The role assists management to develop adequate systems and controls to identify, assess, quantify, manage and report on the risks in the relevant business.


Your opportunity

  • Managing data quality in GRACE and the Personal Everyday Banking Risk profile
  • Regulatory obligation identification, impact assessment and change within the Division
  • Engaging and influencing stakeholders to implement and improve business systems and processes through the use/integration of the risk and compliance framework
  • Identifying business risks, raising events and tracking treatment plans to timeframes

What you will bring:


  • 5+ years' experience in compliance risk management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management and compliance disciplines
  • Proven ability to perform in a high performing team
  • Thorough understanding of Operational Risk and Compliance
  • Extensive experience producing high quality risk reporting
  • Ability to manage deliverables and drive completion dates from internal services and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
