Contract position for an experienced Secretariate | Support

Company Secretary and the board | Hybrid Working | Collaborative team

Initial two-month contract, working from home available.


This organisation, based on the city fringe, has a key purpose and goal to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching and education services, and standards across the country.

The primary focus of this interim position, is to support the Company Secretary and the board so they can effectively deliver key governance, policy advice and best practice operations.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Quality assurance of documentation ensuring governance and compliance
  • Provide Board Support; preparation of documentation, meeting invites and proof reading board documents
  • Maintain effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of material and updating policies

You will have the following:


  • Previous experience in a complex secretariate role supporting and liaising with the board and senior managers
  • Demonstrate highlevel attention to detail
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast pace complex environment
  • Exceptional knowledge of the MS office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have a positive and collaborative approach to work
