Parttime, Fixed Term position until December 2024
Salary HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
About You
As the Research Events and Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for providing high quality event management and administrative support across a range of DSC Research events. DSC Research events include research conferences, symposia, industry research events, and research planning activities.
Under the direction of the Senior Coordinator, Research Operations, you will book event venues, guests, travel, catering, AV, facilities, marketing and promotion, distribution of event materials and collation of feedback.
To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:
Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and logístical support in the organisation and delivery of a range of events.-
Highly developed organisational and planning skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.-
Highly developed interpersonal skills and a proven ability to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.-
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, positively contributing to the achievement of organisational goals.
