The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to plan and manage the engineering activities of a large multi-year program.

This Program is aimed at replacing various assets within the Defence and Intelligence space.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contract SoW and DID development
  • Technical Tender Evaluation Working Group
  • Technical Support to Contract Negotiations
  • Engineering changes and configuration changes
  • Mandated System Reviews in contract
  • Technical risk management and reporting

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Engineering Management or relevant industry certifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Shipbuilding
  • Demonstrated experience in Capability Acquisition and Delivery
  • Chartered Engineer Status or ability to achieve Chartered Engineer Status in 24 months
  • Management Experience in Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects
