About the role


As our projects and legacy grows, so do our teams That is why our Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance is on the hunt for a brand new Land & Property Adviser to join their fast-paced, results driven team.


As a Land and Property Adviser, you will be responsible for supporting the facilitation and management of all matters relating to the identification, leasing and management of property matters and where necessary, disposal and acquisition of land for project purposes.


The role will allow you to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders such as VicTrack, VicRoads, Department of Transport and Planning, Department of Treasury and Finance, Valuer General Victoria, Victorian Government Land Monitor, Local Government and more.

Whilst no day is the same in the Land and Property Adviser role, some of the tasks include:

  • Providing guidance to project teams on land and property matters in consideration to both private, government and Crown land.
  • Undertaking land and property tasks for site identification such as title searches, investigating land status and identifying project survey needs.
  • Managing assets and land within the project area this includes but is not limited to negotiating lease agreements, maintaining a property/asset register and preparing Lease Amendment Deeds and Plans.
The Land and Property Adviser position offers a 3-year fixed term contract, paying between $103,920 and $127,621 + super.

LXRP fully supports the new hybrid way of life and envision this role as a weekly blend of Richmond office (2 days), CBD office (1 day) and working from home (2 days).


About you


We are interested in people with experience in a range of land and property related disciplines such as property valuation, land planning, conveyancing, land and asset management, property surveying or government land processes.

Experience in managing land and property issues within a major project environment, including private and Crown land is considered highly desirable, but not mandatory.


You MUST be confident in your ability to work autonomously, have demonstrated experience taking initiative in project work and understand the importance of building meaningful relationships with relevant stakeholders.

Exposure utilising or understanding the project delivery powers under Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 is a huge advantage.

Let's get technical What will we expect from you?

  • Experience in a land and property related discipline as well as demonstrated experience understanding land and asset management and leasing framework.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in property, surveying, urban planning or a similar discipline is beneficial to the role but not mandatory.
  • Proven understanding of legislation, policies and processes relating to land management, valuation, acquisition and disposal.
