Investment Operations Manager:

At B&K Consulting, we are currently seeking an experienced Investment Operations Manager to join a leading superannuation fund in the transport and logistics industry.

Our client is a fund focused on growth and retention and achieving the best retirement outcomes for members.

As the Investment Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Fund meets its investment obligations and manages risk effectively.

Responsibilities:

Maintain investment fee calculations for PDS production and formally sign off prior to publication
Manage a partnership relationship with custodian and investment managers with a focus on issue resolution, improvement opportunities, and managing SLAs
Coordinate the establishment and closure of accounts through the Custodian
Monitor investment portfolio liquidity and prepare operational cash flow forecasts
Oversee quality assurance of custodian investment performance reporting
Complete, review and reconcile APRA reporting relating to Investments (SPS500 and 700 series) prior lodgement and resolve any discrepancies
Project manage the delivery of the Superannuation Data transformation project

Requirements:

Significant and practical experience gained within a superannuation fund, investment manage, or custodian environment
Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and processes
Exceptional problemsolving and influencing skills
A professional, cooperative, practical, and proactive mode of working
Sound negotiation skills performed with tact and diplomacy
Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills concise, confident, and accurate
Proven capability in project management
A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is desirable
