What this job involves

The Accounts Receivable Officer will ensure the accurate and timely processing of Trust Accounts Receivable information in accordance with internal control standards and agreed service level.

Snapshot of the role:

Reconciliation of receipts and trust account bank reconciliations
Review requests for real estate deposits, receipting of deposit in the system
Liaise with the banks to follow up on unidentified deposits, investments and other general issues
Month-end processing and end of month bank reconciliation package
Bank Account opening and closing requests and audit documents preparation

Sound like you? This is what we're looking for:
Relevant Trust Accounting experience from a property/legal industry will be highly regarded
Trust regulations knowledge or experience will be desirable but not essential
Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Strong attention to detail with accurate and timely data entry skills
Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritising own workload
Excellent communication skills - telephone, written and in person
A great team player
