The role:
We are seeking a Quality Manager to service a key client under our assurance program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and governance across the Program Engineering and Procurement contract
- Planning, Execution and monitoring of Quality activities including all internal and external audit programs, nonconformance management, and continuous improvement
- Develop project specific Quality Management strategies, present to key stakeholders, implement and maintain.
- Willingness to collaborate with vendors/suppliers by way of conducting inspections (as required), vendor audits, ad hoc visits to maintain Quality expectations and requirements
- Develop and support the Quality Team
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders (client) for quality assurance
- Liaising with Subcontractor and suppliers to ensure products and services meet acceptance objectives
- Ensure the Quality Management System is compliant and meets ISO 9001 standards
- Ensure that effective working relationships are built and maintained with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that business objectives and goals are achieved for project delivery
- Promote strong culture of customer focus and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide project Quality reporting/updates to key stakeholders
About you:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Tertiary or professionally qualified in QA, Engineering or similar.
- Previous experience in brownfield project delivery; EPCM environment will be preferred
- Proven Quality experience in multi discipline packages
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across a variety of crossfunctional teams
- Demonstrated experience of leading and inspiring a team of varying levels of skills and experience.
- Proactive approach to Quality management
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 and/or other quality Management systems
- Lead auditor qualified
- ISO 9001
