What's the opportunity?
We are on the hunt for an experienced
Processing Manager to join our fleet conversion team in
Eagle Farm.
The overall purpose of the role is as follows:

  • Manage the operating activities of the Fleet Conversions production unit to achieve planned yields in accordance with the production schedule.
  • To proactively develop customer loyalty to our product by developing a service and quality strategy to support the Autonexus business plan and implement this strategy through the Fleet Conversions Team.
  • Liaise with staff to achieve the daily productions schedules and coordinate work for trades and trades assistants and to identify areas for improvement.

Further to the above, your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate activities with quality control and technical staff to achieve planned production performance
  • Observe approved schedules and ensure efficient performance by direct supervision of staff
  • Conduct regular stock takes of raw materials and work in process
  • Establish and develop relationships with customers and resolve customer complaints
  • Implement strategies for developing performance in line with established operating standards

About You

To be successful you must possess the following:

  • Substantial practical production/ processing experience
  • Understanding of management practices and implications
  • Confident and effective communication skills
  • Problem solving and scheduling ability
  • Excellent eye for detail and highly organised
  • A positive attitude, high degree of initiative, motivation and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage an agile work team and organisational structure that is responsive to changing job demands
