The Student Recruitment Manager plays a significant role in driving sales growth and achieving student recruitment targets in their region.
Working collaboratively with the Director of Student Recruitment and the wider marketing and admissions team in the creation, execution and evaluation of strategies that contribute to student recruitment for the College.
This position will be responsible for implementing strategies to drive increased student enrolments from designated countries or regions.This will be achieved through the development of appropriate marketing materials, ongoing training and management of agents, attendance at key recruitment events and expos, responding to enquiries from prospective students and the tactical execution of enquiry conversion strategies.
Prinicipal Accountabilities
- Provide input into the development of annual marketing plans, recruitment targets and budgets
- Develop and manage effective relationships with agents, university and Navitas colleagues.
- Develop, implement and evaluate lead generation, conversion and referral campaigns
- Contribute to the development of the value proposition that differentiates the College in specific target markets
- Develop nurturing and conversion campaigns to maximise student enrolments.
- Develop, execute and evaluate student recruitment strategies/campaigns/promotional activities and content, including joint activities with University Partner
- Contribute to product portfolio development and its ongoing evaluation and refresh in line with market demand
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in higher education recruitment with a broad knowledge of the university systems
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success in a sales or marketing environment
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and constructively within a team
- Willingness to be flexible with work hours and have the ability to travel overseas, often outside normal office hours
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage competing priorities
