As our technical function grows, we are looking to add a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Analyst to the team at a time where their proven experience and ability to build momentum and deliver will play a pivotal role in shaping our future success.

You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support to a specialist team of highly motivated and capable staff, across local and remote IT infrastructure, including the management of cloud services, servers, networks, video conferencing and other systems.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hands on Technical Support

  • Your core responsibility as part of the World Services technical team will be to ensure staff are enabled by our technical infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership within the technical function and the wider organisation and deliver solutions that our staff love and need.
  • Provide technical support to staff and implement support service solutions as required.

Local Infrastructure Support

  • Manage and maintain local and remote IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, video conferencing and related hardware.
  • Perform regular system checks, maintenance, and updates to ensure optimal performance.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Provide advanced technical support for infrastructurerelated issues, diagnosing and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the remote offices/specialist hub for complex technical challenges.

Network Management

  • Monitor and manage local/remote network infrastructure, addressing connectivity issues, being remote hands and ensuring network security.
  • Work closely with the specialist hub to implement network configurations and optimisations.

Server Administration

  • Administer and maintain local and remote servers, ensuring proper configuration, security baselines, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the global IT team to implement serverrelated policies and updates.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Contribute to regular reporting on infrastructure health, issues, and resolutions.
  • Ensure the local disaster recovery plan is tested, part of the wider business continuity plan and the accuracy is maintained post any configuration changes.

Incident Response and Recovery

  • Respond to infrastructurerelated incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal impact on business operations.
  • Collaborate with the specialist hub/local office for incident analysis and preventive measures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field or demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience of 5 years plus in IT infrastructure support and administration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies including hardware, software, connectivity, networking protocols, cloud and virtualisation.
  • Recent and extensive (5+ years) experience across the Microsoft stack of technologies
  • Experience working with Endpoint Detection and Response products including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Proficiency in security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and security best practice.
  • Experience implementing/managing security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CFS and/or the Australian Government's ISM.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Microsoft certifications, SANS training, Atlassian accreditations etc.) are highly desirable.
