PROK Conveyor Components have an exciting opportunity for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

The position is a full-time opportunity, based in Gosford NSW.

In this role you will learn how to:

Adhere to Work Health and Safety policies and procedures
Complete general fitting duties
Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
Compile bills of materials for overhauled and refurbished components
Overhaul and assembly of materials handling components ranging from conveyor pulleys, sheave wheels and winches.
Operate machine tools
Operate a forklift and overhead crane
Undertake general housekeeping duties
Meet deadlines
An eye for detail and a high expectation to complete a quality product

This is a fantastic opportunity to be paid to learn your trade and end up with a nationally recognised qualification

Completed year 10
A genuine interest in a mechanical career
A willingness to learn
The ability to take direction and follow instructions efficiently
