CSIRO Industry PhD Program (iPhD)

  • Full time, fixed term position at our Hawthorn campus
  • Stipend $34,000 p.a. indexed annually at 3% over 4 years plus a topup scholarship (Cassinia Environmental) at $12,000 p.a. over 4 years (not indexed)

About the Opportunity

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Bachelor with Honours or Masters in food science, biochemistry, nutrition, or a related field.
  • Strong research skills, familiarity with analytical techniques and knowledge of statistics.
  • Be able to work independently and communicate effectively with industry partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience in sensory analysis and food product development.
  • Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Willingness to learn about Indigenous foods.
