CSIRO Industry PhD Program (iPhD)

Full time, fixed term position at our Hawthorn campus
Stipend $34,000 p.a. indexed annually at 3% over 4 years plus a topup scholarship (Cassinia Environmental) at $12,000 p.a. over 4 years (not indexed)

About the Opportunity

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

Bachelor with Honours or Masters in food science, biochemistry, nutrition, or a related field.
Strong research skills, familiarity with analytical techniques and knowledge of statistics.
Be able to work independently and communicate effectively with industry partners and stakeholders.
Experience in sensory analysis and food product development.
Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices.
Willingness to learn about Indigenous foods.
