Community Partnerships Officer

Permanent full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary from $1, $1,895.70 per week + 10.5% superannuation

Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, community development or similar field.
Knowledge in Asset Based Community Development principles and practices.
Sound understanding of, and commitment to, contemporary place making principles and practices.
Knowledge and understanding of key stakeholders in the community, including government, nongovernment and business and a demonstrated ability to work with these stakeholders.
Knowledge in community engagement techniques.
Current Class C drivers licence.
Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning processes and approaches.
Extensive work related experience in social sciences, community development or similar field.
Demonstrated expertise in Asset Based Community Development principles and practices.
Specialist experience in implementing community development initiatives in both established and newly developed communities.
Demonstrated experience in using quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
Experience in managing communications in a politically sensitive environment.
COVID19 Vaccination or Medical Contraindication Certificate upon commencement.
Work with children check.
