The opportunity


As our internal sales and purchasing officer, you will be responsible for providing efficient and exceptional customer service, primarily in the counter sales area.


Your key responsibilities include:

  • Provision of customer service and sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
  • Liaising with suppliers to successfully process orders, purchase stock and assisting with customer consignment for electrical projects.
  • Inventory management as required.
  • Actively keeping in touch with customers and building strong, longterm working relationships.
  • Ensuring all orders are dispatched accurately and in a timely manner.

About you:


  • Driven and passionate professional with experience working in a sales or customer facing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy meeting people and building strong working relationships with customers.
  • A thirst for product knowledge and a real drive to learn new skills and build a longterm successful career.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and prepared to think outside the box to provide the best possible solutions for your clients.
  • Electrical wholesale experience is highly regarded, though not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and Word) and demonstrate strong computer IT skills.
  • Full Australian working rights, as sponsorship will not be offered for this role.
