Australian owned and operated for over 30 years, our client is a nimble and innovative food business sourcing and supplying wholesale meats.

They are energetic and provide bespoke solutions to their clients thinking and acting for the long term and are steadfast about best quality service.

Due to business growth, they are seeking a

Key Account Manager for their domestic Australian market. An excellent opportunity to leverage an existing and strong client base and offer services to new clients.


The Role
***This role is responsible to grow wholesale, manufacturing, and food service sales across Australia. A highly engaged role, you will work closely with a mix of existing and new clients aimed to retain the relationship for the long term. You will also collaborate closely with suppliers and the logistics teams to ensure service delivery is maximised.


The environment is innovative and has a 'glass half full' attitude so as a result you can be flexible and create long term commercial solutions with clients.


The Person
***To be successful in the role you will have:
  • some experience in trading with any soft commodity (ideally meat)
- sales experience
- an ability to work closely with clients negotiating commercial deals
- key account management and business development skills
- a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- ideally an exposure and understanding of the logistics around trading in Australia
